高锰酸钾(KMnO4)作为一种强氧化剂,其不当排放会对生态系统和人类健康造成严重威胁。本研究以5-(4-羧基苯氧基)间苯二甲酸(H3cpia)为有机配体,以稀土Eu3+为金属中心离子,采用水热合成法成功制备了铕基金属有机框架材料[Eu(cpia)(H2O)2]n·nH2O。该材料展现出优异的荧光性能,最大发射峰位于616 nm(5D0→7F2跃迁)。以该材料作为荧光探针,通过选择性、滴定和抗干扰实验发现,[Eu(cpia)(H2O)2]n·nH2O对MnO4-离子具有特异性识别能力,在0~100 μmol/L浓度范围内呈现良好的线性关系(R2=0.999),检测限低至0.142 μmol/L,猝灭常数高达8.96×103 L/mol。此外,该探针对常见共存离子(包括F-、CO32-、PO43-等)表现出良好的抗干扰能力。紫外-可见吸收光谱证实,MnO4-在300~400 nm处的宽吸收带与[Eu(cpia)(H2O)2]n·nH2O的激发光谱(200~400 nm)高度重叠,导致内滤效应的发生,这是荧光猝灭的主要原因。[Eu(cpia)(H2O)2]n·nH2O是一种高效、可靠的MnO4-荧光探针,有望应用在水环境监测领域。
Abstract:
Potassium permanganate (KMnO4),a strong oxidizing agent,poses significant threats to ecosystems and human health when improperly discharged. Using 5-(4-carboxyphenoxy) isophthalic acid (H3cpia) as organic ligand and rare earth Eu3+ as metal center ion, we successfully synthesized europium-based metal-organic framework material, [Eu(cpia)(H2O)2]n·nH2O, via the hydrothermal method. This material exhibited excellent fluorescence properties with a maximum emission peak at 616 nm (5D0→7F2 transition). Employing this material as a fluorescent probe, selectivity experiments, titration analyses, and anti-interference tests revealed that [Eu(cpia)(H2O)2]n·nH2O has specific recognition capabilities for MnO4- ions, showing a linear relationship (R2 = 0.999) within the concentration range of 0-100 mmol/L, with a low detection limit of 0.142 mmol/L and a high quenching constant of 8.96×103 L/mol. Notably, the probe displays outstanding anti-interference performance against common coexisting ions (including F-, CO32-, and PO43-, etc.). Ultraviolet-visible absorption spectra confirmed that the broad absorption band of MnO4- in the 300-400 nm region significantly overlaps with the excitation spectrum (200-400 nm) of [Eu(cpia)(H2O)2]n·nH2O,inducing an inner filter effect,which is identified as the primary mechanism for fluorescence quenching. These findings demonstrated that [Eu(cpia)(H2O)2]n·nH2O serves as a highly efficient and reliable fluorescent probe for MnO4- detection, showing promising potential for water environment monitoring applications.
