摘要:
在论述图书馆功能的多元化源于其价值多元化的基础上，对新时期公共图书馆功能的拓展进行了研究，提出在坚持其教育默化功能的同时，发展其信息传播与网络导航功能，扩大其文化服务功能，拓展其休闲娱乐功能，将城市公共图书馆建设成为城市居民的教育中心、信息中心、文化中心和休闲中心。
Abstract:
This article elaborates library function diversification stems from its value diversification. It conducts the research on public library functions development， proposes while insists on education tacit function. It develops its information transmission and the network guidance function， expands its culture service function， develops its entertainment function. The urban public library will become into education center， message center， cultural center and leisure center for the city people.
